Instagram Food Photos #003

There is one constant through out the world that is hard to miss, McDonalds.

McDonalds can currently be roughly found in 119 countries through out the world, bringing joy to kids and people but also unhealthy food to the masses.

Often travellers new to traveling and visiting foreign countries use McDonalds as their crutch, as their familiar fall back food when they get homesick. Called “McD’s” in some parts of the world and known as “maccas” else where, they are a world wide icon that isn’t about to go anywhere any time soon.

This weeks Instagram Food Photos are photos of McDonalds food!

I despise McDonalds and avoid it at all costs, especially when traveling. It always gives me a massive stomach ache.

I have never seen photos of McDonalds food that actually make it look sort of edible, especially those chicken nuggets. Nice job! ;-)

@Stephanie – The Travel Chica: I use to love the stuff when I was a little kid, but now I’m pretty “meh” about it.
It surprises me how different it can taste all over the world though.
This does make it look tasty doesnt it? haha

I try Mcdonalds every once in a while during my travels just to see what the take on local cuisine is.

For example, McArabia in Egypt is a beef(?) patty on a pita wrap, Japan has a Teryaki Burger, etc. I just read that they are releasing a new one in France that is on a baguette.

Don’t judge me, but I kind of want one.

@Jeremy: On a pita? crazy. I’ve tried it in various places around the world but always get the same thing and don’t go for the different stuff that they have. However it amazes me that the burgers taste different everywhere, like comparing Canadian burges to ones in Australia, totally different! Canada does it best :)
